Two-Way SSL ဆိုတာဘာလဲ၊ ဘယ်လို Setup လုပ်သလဲ။

Information Security နှင့်ပတ်သက်လို့ရှိရင် Two-Way SSL က အလွန်အရေးပါတဲ့ Topic တစ်ခုဖြစ်တယ်။ Enterprise တစ်ခုမှာ Vendor တွေရဲ့ System တွေနှင့် ချိတ်ဆက်အလုပ်လုပ်တော့မယ် ဆိုလို့ရှိရင် အသုံးပြုတဲ့ Mechanism တစ်ခုဖြစ်တယ်။ Two-Way SSL ကို Mutual SSL Authentication လို့လည်းခေါ်တယ်။ Two-Way SSL ဘာကြောင့် အရေးပါတာလဲ။ ဘယ်လို Setup လုပ်သလဲဆိုတာကို Local Environment မှာ တဆင့်ချင်းစီပြောပြထားတယ်။ Tacit Knowledge ရချင်ရင် စမ်းကြည့်နိုင်တယ်။ SSL နှင့် Two-Way SSL အရင်ဆုံး Security Socket Layer (SSL) အကြောင်းကို အတိုချုပ်ပြောရမယ်ဆိုရင် Client နှင့် Server အပြန်အလှန် Communicate လုပ်တဲ့အခါမှာ၊ Communication Channel ကို လုံခြုံအောင်၊ အကာအကွယ်ပေးတဲ့ Technology Layer တစ်ခုဖြစ်တယ်။ One-Way SSL ကို Website တွေမှာပဲ အသုံးများတယ်၊ ဥပမာ User Profile တို့၊ Credit Card Information တို့ကို Server ဆီပို့တဲ့အခါမှာ SSL ထဲကနေပဲပို့တယ်။ ဘာကြောင့် One-Way SSL လို့ပြောတာလဲဆိုတော့၊ Client ကနေပဲ Server ကို Authentication လုပ်လို့ One-Way လို့ပြောတာဖြစ်တယ်။ Two-Way မှာကြတော့ Server ရော၊ Client ရော နှစ်ခုစလုံးက အပြန်အလှန် Verification နှင့် Authentication တွေလုပ်ပြီးတော့မှ Information တွေပို့ကြတာဖြစ်တယ်။ အဲ့ဒီတော့ Client က သူ Connect လုပ်မယ့် Server ရဲ့ Certificate ကို Verification နှင့် Authentication လုပ်တယ်၊ Server ကလည်း သူကို Connect လာလုပ်တဲ့ Client ရဲ့ Certificate ကို Verification နှင့် Authentication ပြန်လုပ်တယ်။ အပြန်အလှန် Trust ဖြစ်ပြီဆိုမှာ Secure Channel ကနေ Information တွေပို့တယ်၊ ဒါကြောင့်မို့ Two-Way SSL လို့ခေါ်တယ်။ System တစ်ခုကနေ အခြားနောက် System တစ်ခုကို ချိတ်ဆက်ပြီး၊​ အပြန်အလှန် Information တွေပို့ကြတဲ့အခါမှာ Two-Way SSL အသုံးပြုတယ်။ ဥပမာ HTTPS ကနေ သို့မဟုတ် TCP/IP ကနေ Information တွေပို့တဲ့အခါမှာ Two-Way SSL ကို အသုံးပြုကြတယ်။ Two-Way SSL က Server မှာ Host လုပ်ထားတဲ့ API နှင့် Services တွေကို မူမမှန်တဲ့ Client တွေလာပြီး Connect မလုပ်နိုင်အောင် ကာကွယ်ဖို့အတွက် အသုံးပြုတယ်။ အရမ်းလည်း Strong ဖြစ်တဲ့ Technology တစ်ခုဖြစ်သလို၊ Configuration လုပ်တဲ့အချိန်၊ Application တွေ Development လုပ်တဲ့အချိန်တွေမှာ ခေါင်းစားအောင် Troubleshoot လုပ်ရတဲ့ Technology လည်းဖြစ်တယ်။ #sslcertificate #twowayssl #informationsecurity #howto
