#11 Pen Y Fan Walk from Storey Arms - Brecon Beacons National Park Best Walk [Cinematic Hiking Vlog]

Pen Y Fan is easily the best walk in the Brecon Beacons National Park. In this cinematic hiking vlog, we start at the Storey Arms and make our way to the Pen Y Fan summit at 886m via Y Gyrn and Corn Du. The name translates to 'top of this place' and the F is pronounced with a V! This hike was ranked 11th on ITV's Britain's 100 Favourite Walks. Although the ascent was only 446m, I was out of shape and my childhood friends had varying levels of fitness - it was a gruelling way of finding out just how much we'd let ourselves go during the lockdown! We ended the day with a well deserved meal at the Welcome Country Pub & Kitchen in Llanrhidian, a small village in the Gower AONB.
