Ngāti Kahungunu to deliver Treaty petition to Parliament on horseback

A group of Ngāti Kahungunu uri have saddled up for the long journey from Waimārama, Hawkes Bay to the front steps of Parliament, delivering a petition signed by over 26,000 urging the Government to stop passing legislation that seeks to weaken effects of the Treaty in law.
