Marvel NYCC Announcements, Batman 2 Is Stopped, Lanterns Exposes More Idiots

Marvel and DC have given us plenty to talk about this week, and naturally, the internet is handling everything with its usual level of maturity. We're breaking down the big Marvel Television announcements from New York Comic Con 2026, including the new live-action Zodiac series, three upcoming Marvel Zombies spin-off specials, and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2, featuring the return of the symbiote and Venom! On the DC side, James Gunn confirms he's already writing his next movie after Man of Tomorrow, while production on The Batman Part II has been temporarily halted as director Matt Reeves steps away to deal with a personal family matter. We discuss the news, the concerns surrounding the movie, and some of the rather ridiculous reactions online. And finally, HBO's Lanterns has aired its season finale! After I posted a video asking whether the DCU's depiction of Hal Jordan was disrespectful to the character, the reactions on X were... something else. We discuss the show's controversial creative decisions, the legitimate criticisms, and why apparently having a nuanced opinion on the internet is asking WAY too much. We go over some Vision Quest & Avengers Doomsday stuff as well :) #Marvel #Lanterns #TheBatmanPartII #DCU #SpiderMan #JamesGunn #MarvelZombies #NYCC 00:00 - What's Happening 08:49 - Marvel's ZODIAC Series 13:01 - MARVEL ZOMBIES Updates 19:32 - Actually Defending Avengers Doomsday (Sorta) 23:28 - Deadpool Joins X-Men Season 3 24:27 - James Gunn's Next DC Movie? 33:31 - Matt Reeves' THE BATMAN Part II Paused Filming 41:36 - Cancelled GREEN LANTERN Concept Art 46:35 - Lanterns Hal Jordan Criticisms & moronic people Lanterns Episode 8 Reaction    • LANTERNS EPISODE 8 FINALE REACTION – DID T...   Spider-man 2 Reaction (Commentary)    • SPIDER-MAN 2 MOVIE REACTION – Overrated OR...   Spider-Man Brand New Day reaction    • SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY MOVIE REACTION –...   Follow Coy Jandreau    / @coyjandreau   https://www.tiktok.com/@coyjandreau?l... https://www.instagram.com/coyjandreau...   / coyjandreau   Intense Suspense by Audionautix is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/...
