In the eyes of the older‑generation people in China, girls don’t deserve to live in this world if they don’t get married and have kids. My female classmates and I have pretty much all heard such remarks. But most well‑educated young women nowadays are unwilling to have children when their financial situation isn’t stable. We don’t want our kids to go through the same hardships we went through in childhood. I believe this is what it means to be responsible for a life, unlike the older generations, who only needed to feed their children and keep them alive. What’s your opinion on raising children?
