I look at its Ethiopian preservation, First Enoch, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the difference between an ancient text and inspired Scripture. I also examine the real Enoch in Genesis, the Bible used by Jesus, the Council of Nicaea, the Muratorian Fragment, and Jude’s quotation from Enoch. Along the way, I address the Watchers, the giants, and the competing interpretations of Genesis 6. Finally, I focus on the lesson behind Enoch’s life: what it means to walk with God and trust the Scripture that points us to Jesus.
