सवर्णों के गुस्से के बाद बागेश्वर क्या बोले, पीएम मोदी उनकी सुनेंगे? | General | SC ST | OBC | Caste Baba Bageshwar is now making the same argument that members of the upper-caste community have been making for months. A section of the upper-caste ecosystem has repeatedly warned that caste-based politics should not be pushed so far that it divides the country. Baba Bageshwar is making a similar point, warning that caste-based politics could lead to civil war in the country. He is urging people not to take things in that direction. Now, reacting to Baba Bageshwar’s statement, some social media users are asking him to speak to his “elder brother,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as well. They are urging him to tell Modi not to sacrifice the interests of the General Category for political gains and, in the process, damage the BJP itself. Others are arguing that it is Prime Minister Modi who is pursuing caste-based politics and that Baba Bageshwar should be addressing these concerns directly to him. Some are also questioning why Baba Bageshwar continues to support the Prime Minister. People are asking when Dhirendra Krishna Shastri will tell his “elder brother” Modi to stop expanding reservation, do away with caste-based laws and stop caste-driven politics. However, this is not the first time Baba Bageshwar has issued such a warning. He has spoken about this on several occasions and frequently calls for Hindu unity. He has also repeatedly argued that society should recognise only two castes: the rich and the poor. Anchor: Meanwhile, a statement by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also going viral. In the clip, he says that people must unite against those who seek to divide society. Byte: Narendra Modi Social media users are questioning the Prime Minister’s statement as well. Some are accusing the government of dividing Hindus through reservation policies and what they describe as the “Modi Act” and the UGC regulations, which they oppose. Some users are also urging people to reach Delhi on December 29, 2026, and stand up for their rights against what they call the Modi Act, UGC regulations and 72–75 per cent reservation. Other commenters are claiming that Prime Minister Modi has played the biggest role in dividing society, arguing that no other political leader has contributed as much to social polarisation. Journalist Ajeet Bharti has also written that Modi is effectively calling on people to unite against his own government. He has urged those who want to mobilise against the Modi Act, the UGC regulations supported by the Modi government and the BJP’s alleged 72–75 per cent reservation policies to reach Delhi on December 29, 2026, and stand up for their rights, their community and the nation. Lead-out The larger point is that some people are no longer willing to accept calls for social unity from the Prime Minister at face value. They point to election-time slogans such as “Batenge toh Katenge” and argue that, while political leaders speak about Hindu unity, caste-based politics continues to feature prominently in electoral debates. The question being raised is straightforward: can the call for Hindu unity be reconciled with reservation policies and political strategies that critics believe deepen divisions along caste lines?
