White Villa | A Modern House Shaped by Nature, Light & Water

A contemporary villa where architecture meets nature, light, and water. White Villa is a contemporary residence designed in 2021 in Vileh Sabz, east of Isfahan, Iran — created to preserve its natural surroundings while bringing the landscape into the experience of the home. Set on a 2,330 m² site with mature trees, the villa was carefully positioned within the eastern part of the property to preserve the existing vegetation and create a strong visual connection between the interior spaces and the surrounding landscape. With approximately 1,200 m² of built area across four levels, the house is organized around a central void that visually connects the main floors. Four master bedrooms, generous living spaces, terraces, gardens, and carefully designed landscape areas create a sequence of spaces connected to nature. The architecture follows a restrained and minimalist approach, using a single travertine stone as the primary façade material. Exposed structural elements become part of the architectural expression, while terraces and large openings frame views toward the mountains, trees, and surrounding landscape. Water also plays an important role in the experience of the house. A cascading water feature connects the southern terrace to the lower garden, introducing movement and the sound of water into different levels of the project. From architecture and interior spaces to materials, landscape, light, water, and the relationship between the building and its surroundings, White Villa explores how a contemporary home can become part of its landscape rather than simply occupying it.
