In our Laowa 25-100mm lens review we pit the Laowa OOOM Lens VS the Fujinon Cabrio 20-120mm lens in this cinema lens comparison! The Laowa 25-100mm OOOM lens debuted at NAB this year, and we were able to get our hands on the Laowa OOOM lens prototype. We wanted to compare it to a similar cine zoom lens like the Fujinon 20-120mm lens. We tested both cinema lenses on a number of different factors, like sharpness, bokeh and color science. Overall in our lens comparison the Fuji 20-120mm lens was cleaner and more sharp, and the Laowa OOOM lens has a softer more vintage look. For almost $4000 less than the Fujinon, the Laowa 25-100mm cinema zoom lens is a great option for the indie filmmaker.
