But the trades will be here for a long time - making them more attractive than ever. Yet, the stigma lingers. Go to college, get a high-paying job. There are few college degrees that lead to high paying jobs - they usually lead to significant debt that has to be serviced by a low-paying career. Most trades pay extremely well and in many cases, the work doesn't go home with you - it stays on the jobsite. This reduces stress and improves family life.
