Treasure Hunting at a Wholesale Market in China （Kitchen & Home Essentials & Korean Spicy Tofu Soup）

In this vlog, I’m taking a trip to one of Nanjing’s famous wholesale markets, a place I’ve known for about 25 years.​ I used to come here as a student to buy stationery and enjoy simple, carefree summer days. Coming back after all these years, the market feels almost the same — but I’ve certainly changed.​ This time, I’m here to treasure hunt for some practical household items, including kitchenware, towels, dishes, and cups. I enjoy being frugal, but I don’t believe that saving money means compromising on quality. I simply prefer to spend wisely and cut out unnecessary expenses.​ I’ll also make a quick and comforting Korean-style spicy beef and tofu soup using ingredients I already have in my fridge.​ A little shopping, a little cooking, and a few nostalgic memories along the way.
