Círdan the Shipwright | A Tolkien Story for Sleep

Círdan the Shipwright is a peaceful, atmospheric bedtime story inspired by the timeless world of J. R. R. Tolkien. Tonight, journey to the far western shores of Middle-earth, to the quiet harbour of the Grey Havens, where an ancient Elf with a long silver beard has spent age after age building white ships for others. From the starlit days of the Great Journey and the lost havens of Beleriand to the kingdom of Gil-galad, the secret of the Ring of Fire, and the arrival of a humble grey wanderer named Gandalf, Círdan watches the world change while he keeps faith with the sea. And at the end of the Third Age, it is Círdan who makes the last white ship ready for the Ring-bearers' final voyage into the West. This slow, atmospheric Tolkien bedtime story is designed for listeners who enjoy classic fantasy, Elven lore, the sea, ancient harbours, relaxing narration, and sleep stories. Settle in, turn down the lights, and let the gentle tide, the cry of the gulls, lantern-lit quays, and white sails at dusk carry you into the story of one of the oldest and wisest Elves in Middle-earth. This story brings the world of Círdan the Shipwright to CineMurphy, exploring the quieter corners of Tolkien's imagination through calm narration and immersive storytelling.
