Today I’m talking about The BFG written by Roald Dahl in 1982, and the 2016 adaptation directed by Stephen Speilberg. The story follows Sophie, an orphan who is kidnapped by a Big Friendly Giant (the BFG). She learns that there are giants in the world, and they eat people. But the BFG doesn’t eat people; he actually gives them dreams. They become friends and work together to stop the bad giants and save the day.
