UCSB Wind Ensemble Presents Hemiola: Get with the time!

Join us on Thursday, May 28th at 7:30 PM for UCSB Wind Ensemble's Hemiola: Get with the Time as it explores rhythm, movement, and place through works spanning centuries of music. Handel’s Water Music Suite captures the grandeur of the Baroque era, while Dello Joio’s Scenes from “The Louvre” paints musical portraits inspired by art and history. Copland’s An Outdoor Overture evokes the majesty of the outdoors, Frantzen’s Skronk captures the pulse of city life, and Grainger’s Molly on the Shore closes the program with spirited folk energy and dance.
