Using Plugins in SIGIL to Solve Tricky eBook Issues - Part 4

Welcome to this tutorial. In this video tutorial - Part 4 in the eBook series, I demonstrate how plugins can extend the default capabilities of SIGIL and help you quickly deal with some pesky and time consuming issues in eBook creation. I introduce three useful plugins which can replace simple quotes with smart quotes, import a Bibliography from Zotero and import word docx documents directly into SIGIL. While this tutorial can be viewed independently, if you want some background on ePUB and eBooks, you can look at my other videos in the eBook playlist.    • EBooks   Sigil version used in this video : Sigil - 2.0.2 - Sigil website - https://sigil-ebook.com/sigil/ Zotero website - https://www.zotero.org/ Timecodes 0:00 Cover Music 0:14 Introduction 0:55 Case 1 : Replace Simple Quotes with Smart Quotes 2:54 Finding SIGIL Plugins 3:11 Sigil Plugins Download Site 3:59 PunctuationSmarten Plugin 4:49 Installing Plugins in Sigil 5:32 Using the PunctuationSmarten Plugin 7:52 Case 2: Import Bibliography from Zotero 8:52 Downloading and Installing Zotero Plugin 10:33 Exporting Bibliography from Zotero and Importing in SIGIL 13:41 Case 3: Importing a Word file using the Docx Import Plugin 17:10 Closing comments Feel free to share this video with others and let me know if this tutorial was helpful in the comments.
