The Great Ohio Adventure Trail, better known as the GOAT, is one of America's newest and most exciting overland routes. Stretching more than 1,100 miles from the banks of the Ohio River to the shores of Lake Erie, the GOAT takes travelers through some of Ohio's most scenic and historic landscapes. Created by Brad McFadden through Lost at Last Adventure Travel, the route was designed to showcase a side of Ohio that most people never experience—quiet backroads, gravel forest roads, covered bridges, small towns, rolling Appalachian hills, and countless hidden gems. In this first episode, we're beginning our adventure in our 2013 Jeep Wrangler, as we set out to explore the opening miles of this incredible trail. Along the way you'll experience scenic country roads, beautiful landscapes, forgotten places, and the kind of adventure that makes overlanding so rewarding. The GOAT isn't about extreme rock crawling—it's about discovering America one backroad at a time.
