THANK YOU HOLY SPIRIT

THANK YOU, HOLY SPIRIT There are many things we can ask of the Holy Spirit—but sometimes we simply need to stop and say, “Thank You.” Thank You for opening our eyes. Thank You for teaching us truth. Thank You for conviction that turns us home. Thank You for comforting us. Thank You for reminding us of the words of Jesus. Thank You for staying. And above all: Thank You, Holy Spirit, for showing us Jesus. Jesus said of the Holy Spirit: “He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” — John 16:14 KJV The Holy Spirit does not draw us toward Himself as the destination. He faithfully reveals and glorifies Jesus. He takes what belongs to Christ and makes Him known to us. Not to ourselves. Not to a feeling. Not to a gift. But to Jesus. May this song become more than something we listen to. May it become our gratitude: Thank You, Holy Spirit, for always pointing us to Jesus. Soli Deo Gloria.
