ESO Update 51 & Season 2 Roadmap: Class Buff, Mundus & Alchemy Changes, Nowhere Vault (2026)

🗺️ A roadmap of what's coming to The Elder Scrolls Online with Update 51 and Season 2, and when each piece arrives, since not everything drops into the game at the same time. 📅 September 28: Update 51 launches with the Nowhere Vault and the Rumors system. Vault keys can come from Dynamic Encounters, heists, and other Thieves Guild content in the Glenumbra area. Tip: leave your console in sleep mode overnight so the update downloads while you're away, and expect possible server downtime on update day. 🏴‍☠️ September 30: The High Seas of Tamriel event and a new Golden Pursuit begin, running for about two weeks. 🗡️ Season 2 (about three weeks later): Solo instances of Moon Hunter Keep and March of Sacrifices arrive, with different rewards and gear pieces than the group versions. Gold companion gear drops were mentioned in a broadcast. ⚔️ Class group buff changes: Dragonknight: Minor Sorcery is removed, and the Elder Dragon passive's Minor Brutality now gives your group Weapon and Spell Damage Templar: The Illuminate passive gives a 2,974 Armor group buff instead of Minor Sorcery Nightblade: Minor Prophecy is removed, and Minor Savagery now covers Weapon and Spell Critical Chance for your group Sorcerer: Loses Minor Prophecy and gains a group buff of 2,974 Penetration 🪨 Mundus Stones: The Apprentice now grants 8% Experience and Inspiration gain, and The Warrior grants both Weapon and Spell Damage. If you use The Apprentice for Spell Damage, you'll need to switch to The Warrior. 🧪 Potions and Alchemy: Weapon and Spell Power potions are combined into one. New effects include Mending, Vexation, Damage Shield, Heal Absorption, and Force, and Maim is being replaced by Cowardice. 🛡️ PvP Veterancy: The current season is ending in November. Rewards shown include 100,000 gold, 200,000 Tel Var Stones, 300 Transmute Crystals, 1,000 Trade Bars, and a Power Slam skill style. 📖 Tamriel Tomes: 27 days left as of recording. 2,000 points roll over into Season 2, and leftover points convert to gold, so it's worth spending them.
