Three days later, we were driving it back home — with a lot more stories than we expected. Day 3 started early with a quiet, traffic-free drive out of Kolkata onto NH12. Breakfast, a sudden rain shower, and then traffic near a flyover construction zone close to Murshidabad — right before we spotted something we still can't fully explain: a car parked on top of a building. From there it was Farakka Barrage, a lunch stop in Malda, and then a long evening drive into the roughest, most challenging stretch of the whole trip — Bihar's roads at night. By the time we hit NH31 and crossed Naxalbari, home felt very close.
