We Paddle Boarded Lake Louise… WOW!

Our Lake Louise adventure started very early at 4:00 AM! ⏰ We woke up, got ourselves ready, and drove from Canmore, Alberta, with one goal in mind — to arrive at Lake Louise around 6:00 AM and hopefully get a parking spot. If you’ve ever visited Lake Louise, you know how quickly the parking area can fill up! We arrived just after 6:10 AM, and there were already only a limited number of parking spots left. We were so glad we decided to come early! Another great thing about arriving early was being able to enjoy Lake Louise before the large crowds of tourists arrived. We had time to slow down, relax, take some beautiful photos, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere without feeling rushed while people waited for their turn to take pictures. After enjoying the morning views, we waited for the weather to warm up a little. Then it was time to get our gear ready! We unpacked and started pumping up our paddle boards before finally heading down to the water. 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️🌊 Once we were on the lake, we got to experience Lake Louise from a completely different perspective. Being out on the water gave us a view that you simply can’t experience from the shoreline. We took our time paddling, relaxing in the middle of the lake, and soaking in the incredible scenery surrounding us. The mountains, glacier views, turquoise water, and peaceful atmosphere made the experience truly unforgettable. 🏔️💙 Although some of the glacier and mountain views weren’t as clear because of the smoke from the wildfires, it didn’t take away from how special the experience was. We were still incredibly grateful to be there and witness the beauty of this place. Standing in the middle of Lake Louise, surrounded by the Canadian Rockies, reminded us once again of how beautifully God created this world. 🙏🏔️ This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget. ❤️ Come along with us as we share our early-morning journey from Canmore to Lake Louise, our paddle boarding adventure, and the beautiful scenery we experienced along the way!
