There were some things I had to surrender before I could receive what God was trying to place in my hands. Some things I had to release. Some versions of myself I had to outgrow. Some desires I had to lay down. Some control I had to give back to God. Because surrender isn’t just about what you’re willing to lose, it’s about making room for what God desires to produce in you. “I Surrender All” into “Holiness” was more than a transition between two songs for me. It was a declaration: God, I give You access. Access to my heart. Access to my mind. Access to my will. Access to my desires. Access to the places I understand AND the places I’m still trying to figure out. Take every part of me and make it pleasing unto You. I don’t only want what God has for me… I want to become who God requires me to be to carry it. So I will forever posture myself in surrender. My heart is Yours. My mind is Yours. My will is Yours. My gifts are Yours. My voice is Yours. My life is Yours. Use every part of me for Your glory.
