Loftsoul – B1 Garden Nights 2009 (Asante Records – AR006BF)

Loftsoul – EP Beyond Found this little blind gem at my friends’ record store, Music House Paris. An absolute under-the-radar release from Japanese DJ and producer Masahiko Uchikawa, aka Loftsoul. This EP is a beautiful journey through deep house textures, warm grooves and subtle ethnic influences. Each track has its own identity, moving between house, tech house and techno while keeping a deep, soulful atmosphere throughout. Uchikawa is a DJ and producer from Ueda, Nagano, Japan, and the founder of Loftsoul Recordings. Over the years, he has developed a distinctive sound rooted in underground house music, combining deep grooves with soulful, jazz-funk and world-music influences. This release came out on Asante Records, an underground house label and DJ-focused record store based in South Africa, established in 2005. The label focused primarily on underground house music, working with record shops and distributors in London and New York. A beautiful piece of underground house to dig for if you enjoy those deeper, less obvious sounds. 💿 Release Info: Artist: Loftsoul Title: EP Beyond Label: Asante Records – AR006BF Format: Vinyl, 12", 33⅓ RPM, EP, Promo, White Label Country: France Released: February 2010 Genre: Electronic Style: Deep House, Tech House Disclaimer: This video is shared for archival, educational and promotional purposes only.
