Children of Bodom - Shovel Knockout (Guitar Cover)

What kind of a lunatic writes string skipping from the low E to the high E? :D Hmm. It's been a while since I've played something this difficult. I knew the verse riff would be difficult, and the intro while not as fast isn't really all that much easier due to those string skips between the low E and the high E. I've never suun such things anywhere else. I've never even practiced such things since I thought no one would ever use them. Well... turns out someone did use them :D I went back and forth one the solo a couple times before deciding to just go for it. I can't do the intro lick at full speed with the bends like Alexi does it so I modified it a bit to make it playable. I also made the final fast scale run 16th notes instead of 16th note triplets since I can't play that at full speed either :D Sounds pretty close to the original despite the changes though so I'm happy with it. The Relentless, Reckless, Forever album is not really a favorite of mine when it comes to COB, but I've always really liked this song. It also has one of the best solos they ever wrote, especially the keyboard solo.
