Our Story — From Grade 4 to "I Do" Our story began in the halls of Ateneo de Davao, back in Grade 4. “The Class President and The Crush ng Bayan”, both of us are students living our own world. Then in Grade 6, she moved to Japan. Years later, I moved to Canada in high school. Life took us on completely different paths. No messages. No reunions. Just silence for 15 years. Until 2018. I saw her name pop up in my Instagram suggested friends list…And then came a message—a very long, slightly tipsy DM from Alecx, confessing that I was her biggest crush in Grade 4. That one message brought us back into each other’s lives. We started talking. She saw how much I loved to travel, so she invited me to visit her in Japan. I went. We met. And that's when the real story began. From that reunion came a friendship… From that friendship, a love that crossed countries, time zones, and years apart.
