Wang Fei | 亡妃

Set against a misty mountain forest, "Wang Fei" explores classical elegance, melancholy, and historical resonance. Draped in traditional Cheongsam, the imagery reflects the complex heritage of Taiwanese women-navigating waves of foreign colonization and turbulence-rising from the shadows to reclaim autonomy and awaken a new consciousness. Grounded in dark, driving Techno, the track evolves into a profound emotional journey. In its final movement, Her Chen's ethereal vocals break through, transforming the rhythm into an expansive Trance landscape-surviving the night to embrace a reborn era in the first light of dawn. lyrics 無意 要讓莞爾 Wú yì yào ràng wăn'ěr 執日遙望 Zhí rì yáo wàng 矣淨役已遙 Yijing, yì yi yáo 無 Wú 靜 已日 Jing yiri 遙望 Yáo wàng 望 Wàng 亡盡也 Wáng jìn yě 吾 亡盡矣 Wú, wáng jìn credits from 逆光 ( Backlit ), released October 2, 2026 Written, Produced, Mixed & Vocals by Her Chen Mastering by Robin Kampschoer Artwork by Her Chen License All rights reserved license all rights reserved
