I Moved to New York | first apartment errands, food spots & starting work soon

I moved to New York, and this is the first few days of trying to settle in before starting work. I thought I'd be able to film everything in more detail in an enjoyable manner, but honestly, it's been overwhelming trying to keep up with the move, get my room and home together, run errands, and only have a few days to actualize this new setting before corporate life starts. There was a lot of movement (even beyond what was captured): Facebook Marketplace pickups, fixing and building furniture, deep cleaning, small errands, etc. while figuring out how I should spend time with others. My mom was still here with me for a few days, so we spent her last stretch in the city walking around, eating, and taking her to my favorite spots like Konban and Radio Bakery. We tried some spots on my hit list like Arcane and From Lucie. I’m really grateful we got to explore together before she went back home. I know I’ll miss the slower life we had in Michigan, especially after spending so much time healing and being with her there. This vlog is certainly not the most organized vlog of moving, but it feels like an honest one: a lot of food, apartment errands, mixed emotions, and trying to make a new city feel a little more familiar (warning: the confusion gets worse).
