Hurtgenlea Holsteins Experimental Alfalfa-corn Intercropping System

In Wisconsin, Hurtgenlea Holsteins has been working with an alfalfa-corn silage intercropping system for ruminant forage. They joined us on Farming Matters to talk about their system for ruminant forage that produces more forage on the same land base, improves nutrient management, and enhances soil and water conservation.
