Bowel Endometriosis - Bowel Resection Surgery

With endometriosis predominantly occurring within the pelvis, the bowel is the most common (non-reproductive) organ to be affected. Bowel endometriosis is commonly misdiagnosed as #IBS or #IBD. Women suffer with symptoms ranging from #constipation to urgency to all kinds of #guthealth issues - think leaky gut and SIBO. I was diagnosed with bowel and bladder endometriosis 9 years ago. My bowel endometriosis was only recently picked up on MRI - a lesion (or nodule) and adhesions (scar tissue).
