Been Gone So Long - Joseph Decosimo

I've been messing with this Virgil Anderson song for years and thought I'd share the mess of licks it's devolved into. It's not in the tuning he uses (but he definitely liked to slip train licks into things). His playing is so bluesy and loose with the form, so I'm just letting things float around a bit... gCGCE but lower https://josephdecosimo.bandcamp.com/ 2finger/clawhammer banjo/fiddle lessons: https://www.josephdecosimo.com/teaching   / josephdecosimo   #banjo #folk #folkmusic #oldtimemusic #blues
