I spent a few days with Himalayan shepherds in the remote high-altitude landscapes of Shatul Ghati, Pabbar Valley, Himachal Pradesh. At around 4000 meters, I stayed with the shepherds, experienced their daily routine, followed their sheep and goats through the high-altitude pastures, and got a closer look at a way of life that is very different from our everyday world.
