75 BURG DAY 24: Vega at Melo Burger

Vega is the producer of 75 Burg — the person making the calls, talking to the restaurants, figuring out where we can film, and helping keep this whole thing moving every day. So it only felt right to finally put him on the other side of the camera. We pulled up to Melo Burger in Inglewood and talked about who Vega is outside of what he does for everybody else: growing up in Colorado, moving to LA during COVID, losing 90+ pounds, learning to take himself and his ideas seriously, and building Dork from something that started as a random thought in his head into something that actually represents him. And Melo wasn’t a random pick either. The name Dork first came to Vega just down the street while he was driving to see Travis Scott and Teezo Touchdown on the Circus Maximus Tour. Somewhere in the middle of eating burgers, we also made him stop saying he was “trying” to build Dork — and somehow got him to lock in October 7th for the next drop on camera.
