Big Waves San Diego - Sun Dec 22, 2024 - OB Pier, Sunset Cliffs, La Jolla

Rideable waves at Sunset Cliffs and La Jolla spots. Some surfers getting bagels at Marine Street was fun to watch. Surfline was saying 10-15ft but most spots seemed more like 8-12ft range. Biggest waves I saw were at OB pier and Blacks. I missed the peak size at Blacks and wanted to see what other spots were doing. Horseshoe seemed maxed out and I didn’t see anyone attempt a wave. Marine street had really good waves on the outer section on two peaks. The peak on the right I think might be called Little Makaha. It was straight out from marine street breaking right and left. The right was mushy and left was hollow.
