A special treat today: After the complete audio recording of Così fan tutte from 9 September 1988, now 60 minutes excerpts from the performance from 13 September 1988. This was very skilfully filmed by Margareta Hintermeier's husband Karl Heinz Kerschner and includes some fascinating backstage impressions. (Even the young Maestro can be seen briefly at 14:57.) Sadly he passed away this February and it is now my task to digitize and restore his vast archive.
