The final main run of the holiday takes us from the top of Galzig, down into St Anton.
Starting from the St Christophbahn we head across to pass the top station of the Tanzbodenbahn and pick up the Black 58. Bit flat at the top hence having to give a tow until we reach the main slope.
Although it's a Black it's very wide which makes it quite manageable. Towards the bottom (2:20) you can head off to the left towards the Schindlergratbahn on Blue 76. Blue 59 joins from the right here as well and also the option to take the Blue 56, although we follow the Red 57 here. At 2:45 Blue 60 heads of to the right and this would take you to the Tanzbodenbahn (and also gives access to Black 52). At 3:15 we join another branch of the Red and follow this down until we join Blue 56 at 3:45, which is where it becomes Blue 55. This whole section is the Steissbachtal, which is a steep sided valley run. It can get very busy down here and the run gets progressively narrower which can make it really awkward with all different standards of skier using it. Not to bad today but it's been carnage a lot of the times I've been here. Reaching the end of the valley section we are joined from the left by Blue 26 from Gampen (6:20). This slope goes to the left at 6:40 to the Mattunbahn. At the same point, part of Black 52 joins from the right so can be a busy crossing point. Further on, at 7:25, the main part of Black 52 joins just where the Zammermoosbahn statiion is.
From here the run is now Blue 50, which starts as a fairly shallow track. However as it gets a little steeper it does get quite bumpy and chopped up.
The run takes us past the main Apres Ski venues - Sennhutte (right at 10:15), Arl One (Left at 10:30), Krazy Kanguruh (left at 10:40) and the Mooserwirt (Down to the right at 11:30).
The final section down to the town gets well used and is quite well chopped up and starting to get a bit heavy too.
