Two babies. Two completely different births: one labor in a hospital, one labor at home. Our honest hospital birth vs home labor story, and what we wish we'd known before both. This is one of the most personal stories on the channel: the atmosphere, the support, the pain, the recovery and the moments nobody warned us about, in each setting. We compare how the environment changed the mindset and pain management, the difference in medical support, which recovery was harder, and what we'd choose again (and do differently). It's not a "one is better" video: every birth is different, and this is simply our story, for anyone pregnant, planning a family, or curious about birth beyond the highlight reel. ⏱ Chapters 0:00 Intro: home vs hospital labor 1:04 First birth: laboring at home 5:11 Second birth: planning a water birth 8:07 Laboring in the hospital 11:05 Pushing back on interventions 15:32 A shift change and a supportive nurse 19:43 The six-hour rule and Pitocin 25:01 Why the water birth didn't happen 27:16 When to push: dilation and station 29:44 Delivering on hands and knees 33:06 Stop blaming mothers for outcomes 37:26 Our advice: do your research 39:45 Keeping labor private ▶ Before the births, our two pregnancies compared:    • First vs Second Pregnancy Symptoms: What W...   ▶ The whole pregnancy journey:    • My pregnancy journey.   👉 Subscribe, new 10-10 log every Thursday:    / @10-10carnivore   💬 Did you have a hospital birth or a home birth?
