Day 1 - The Dead Place ~ Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts (SNES)

Come, the Dark Solstice has! And the horrors that await are sure to be a bloody fun filled ride! Enter the night once more....Where it all began..... And what crazier way to begin this hellbound ride than with an obnoxiously horrific first obstacle..."SUPER GHOULS 'N GHOSTS" You can bicker about how difficult Dark Souls or Elden Ring is. But take a step back to the early 90s and play this little horror gem. I will always remember throwing my controller all over the playroom while playing this many moons ago. Anyways, we play as Arthur venturing through the nightmarish chaos in order to save his beloved Princess Guinevere. Our first obstacle, "The Dead Place." A forest-like graveyard filled with zombies, wolf-like creatures, fire spitting heads and treasure traps. Then in the "Forest of Fear" we must best rosebuds and belials in order to best the first of many boss fights, the Cockatrice!
