This week, we dive into some thrilling matchups and discuss the shifting tides in the AP poll. Buckle up as we tackle some of the most pressing questions in college football today. TEXAS CLAIMS THE CROWN The Texas Longhorns have surged to the number one spot in the AP poll following a dramatic comeback victory against Ohio State, winning 24-23. Andrew shares his thoughts on Texas's potential this season: "I see a maximum of three losses for them... They are a good enough team to not roll over and come back and win that game." E-Money, however, remains skeptical about Texas's long-term prospects: "I don’t have faith in Sark to lead them to a natty. That game in particular..." His comment reflects the ongoing debates about coaching consistency and team resilience. OREGON'S ABSOLUTE COLLAPSE In stark contrast, Oregon's recent loss to Oklahoma State has sparked concerns about their defensive unit, leading to a significant drop in rankings. E-Money expresses cautious optimism: "I don't think they're Penn State... I think they’ll turn around. I have faith in Dan Lanning." However, Andrew isn’t convinced: "Just because you’re Oregon doesn’t mean you’re going to win ball games." The discussions reveal a mix of faith and skepticism surrounding Oregon's ability to bounce back this season. MICHIGAN BOUNCES BACK After an emotional victory over Oklahoma, Michigan finds itself back in the rankings at number nineteen. Andrew believes this reflects more on Oklahoma's struggles: "I think it says a lot more about where Oklahoma is at than where Michigan is at." Both teams are facing scrutiny, and their upcoming matchups will be critical for defining their seasons.
