Crowing Rooster Whirligig: it's all working! 9/7/22 #shorts

Hi friend! This video shows the progress I've made on my crowing rooster whirligig. I've got it working good now, so I need to glue everything together and paint it next. I made 5 different crankshafts before I made one I liked. I was getting too much rocking action from the main body of the rooster, so I shortened the throw (made the crank smaller) on the crank, which reduced the action. I find reducing the action often helps when I'm having troubles getting a whirligig to operate smoothly. This sure is a fun whirligig to watch! Thanks for stopping by.
