I got inside my head and came up with an idea for a Factorio factory that could sort itself, then piece by piece I put it together. Now it's time to share it with you all! Note that this was created nearly a year ago and Factorio changes regularly, including a major expansion, between then and now. Also, I am in no way a Factorio expert and I cut off my tech level once I hit what I felt I needed to start this process, so I in no way min-maxed this, but I'm happy with the working result. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Factorio is developed and published by Wube Software. This game is, to my mind, the grandfather of all modern factory automation games, first releasing to early access in 2016 and finally releasing as a 1.0 in 2020. It is an intricate web of connected systems that all work together to form an imaginative, logical, and difficult crafting game. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This was recorded using OBS Studio, edited with Da Vinci Resolve Studio, Avidemux, Audacity and Gimp Music is courtesy of mobygratis Art provided by doodleTaco AMD Ryzen 9 7900x//MSI Nvidia 4070 Super//32GB DDR5 Ram Timecodes: 0:00 Intro 1:06 Factorio Automation 3:44 Basic Tools 6:15 Goals 7:36 Long Term Storage 11:29 Red and Green Wires 13:10 Math 15:30 Demand and Supply 17:43 Manufacturing Point 21:12 Resupplying and Buffers 23:36 Whole Factory Overview 24:20 On and Off 25:32 Outro
