'This Breed Of Mine' by Andy Gunn for 'Fingers and Thumbs' Sessions 2019

www.andygunn.net A song by the brilliant Big George and The Business from Glasgow, he was an awesome guitarist, singer songwriter who was a real individual and character, check out his music here on youtube or online. I decided to do a slightly mellower version of this song, with the jazz trio and find my own voice within it. It's a song I really identify with, a song of being on the outside, never feeling like you fit in, wanting to be let back into society. Apparently the lyrics were written with the help of a former prison inmate of Barlinnie prison in Glasgow. Anyway, we recorded it in this series of videos to promote the new 'Fingers and Thumbs' show in the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe. Come along, it'll hopefully be a great evening of soulful music.
