Stories Through Time, Travel Yearbook 2005 | Lijiang & Shangri-La | Looking Back at the Places That Shaped My Life
Some journeys fade away with time.
Others become even more meaningful years later.
This is the first episode of my “Travel Yearbook” series, where I revisit places I traveled to many years ago—not simply to remember the scenery, but to rediscover who I was at that moment in life.
In 2005, I traveled through Lijiang and Shangri-La in Yunnan, China.
Back then, digital cameras had just become popular, the Internet was still young, and I never imagined these memories would one day become part of a story I wanted to tell.
Now, twenty years later, I'm opening those old photographs again.
Not only to remember the landscapes…
But also to remember the person who once stood there.
If you enjoy slow travel, beautiful scenery, nostalgia, books, tea, and thoughtful reflections on life, I hope you'll enjoy this journey with me.
✨ Thank you for watching.
