“Honest” Lawmaker Has No Idea His Blood Test Will Say .24

On December 28, 2025, Wyoming state Rep. Bill Allemand told a Johnson County deputy in Buffalo he'd had "probably two beers." The deputy's bodycam kept recording. A driver had reported a pickup swerving on the interstate. He told the deputy, "I am being honest, man." On his passenger seat: an open beer, four more, a loaded pistol and a book of Wyoming's laws. In the back of the patrol truck, he told the deputy who he was. Then the case went to court. In this video: the full stop from the deputy's body camera, the jail, and what the court decided. CASE STATUS (checked October 24, 2026) Pleaded guilty to DUI on July 15, 2026, in Buffalo Circuit Court. Sentence: 90 days in jail, suspended for one year of unsupervised probation; a $500 fine; no bars or liquor stores. Blood test: .24 per the prosecutor; the defense disputed it before the plea.
