MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress POV | Knott’s Berry Farm

MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress is a steel-launched Shuttle Loop roller coaster located at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. This ride was the park's first roller coaster, built in 1978, and was originally named Montezooma's Revenge. It's the longest running Shuttle Loop coaster still in its original park and the only one remaining in the United States! The ride closed in 2022 for a major refurbishment and reopened in August 2026 with a new launch, theming, and name. I have ridden both versions of the ride, and apart from the newly added restrains and the short ride duration, the experience, decent airtime, and new theming make this coaster a fun one.
