Regulating Psychotherapy

On October 14, 2026, CHCPBC hosted a webinar about the upcoming regulation of psychotherapy under the Health Professions and Occupations Act (HPOA), as directed by the BC Ministry of Health. The webinar provided an overview of the College’s public protection mandate and shared the latest updates on efforts to bring psychotherapy under CHCPBC’s regulatory framework ahead of the regulation date of November 29, 2027.
