Material Challenges, Procurement, Future of Materials. Sikar is a city on the rise, and its architects are shaping that rise, one project at a time. Every studio here brings its own skill, experience and way of seeing. This session is an opportunity to bring those strengths into one conversation, and to ask what the architecture of Sikar can become when we look at it together. We will explore this through three lenses. Material: What does Sikar build with, and why? Local craft, brick, terracotta, stone and the new surfaces entering the market all have a story. What does each material really cost, what does it give back to the city, and who decides what becomes the norm? Money: How does money shape design here? Budgets, fees, client expectations and the pressure to deliver exactly what is asked all play a part. What does money decide in Sikar today, what should it decide, and what could the profession do together to protect the value of good work? Mindset.: Every building is shaped by many ways of thinking: young professionals, established architects, clients, vendors, dealers, contractors and labour. What do we believe about each other and about this city, and what would it take for those beliefs to grow? This is the first of many conversations. Whether you have practiced here for three decades or three years, your view of Sikar matters. Come with your experience, your curiosity and your questions. We hope everyone leaves with a new connection and an idea worth carrying forward #sikar #material #money #mindset #kajaria #kajariaceramics #design #designunfiltered #construction
