Holmfirth & Saddleworth - Sad Last Day in the Dear UK!

All good things come to an end and my trip to the UK had to end too. I had to get back to The Na'ster and work. Bittersweet as they say. On my last day my sister Paula, niece Mia and pee chai, our Carl went to Holmfirth for a walkabout, and we had lunch in Uppermill. I had been looking forward to fish and chips at the seaside but, alas, that wasn't to be. I did get fish and chips in the hills of the Pennines, in Uppermill at The Waggon Inn, and it was pretty tasty. Cheers Carl for that treat. Happy sadness sort of a day... That is a bit different than my usual vlogs. I wanted to spend time with the family and so I only did a little bit of filming. I wasn't going to any to be honest. I think we were only going to a local boozer to get a bite to eat and ended up going on a spontaneous adventure. They're sometimes the best kind. This short vlog completes my The Manc Tourist in Manchester 2025 playlist. Hopefully we will have The Na'ster with us next year and I can explore some more of what modern Manchester offers. Please, go and visit. It really is a vibrant and exciting city compared to what I left.
