The Weight

The Weight Let's take that weight off of you, I know life can be hard sometimes and leave scars and some nights it is hard to find, the energy you need to proceed and can't combine the will power with the heart and mind, But hopefully these bars define a place where you're heart can hide from those darkening times, Anguish, Pain and the dark entwined, So hopefully tonight you'll release the bark and bite at what it is that is holding you back despite that - I'm here to provide you the spark you need to finally attack and fight back, I like that, Chorus If your reaching out - I'm a reach out too, If your broken down - I'm a break down, do, You feel what I'm feeling - is it fake or true? So reach out and break down that feeling, Let's take that weight off of you, See Penny knows crushing pain like you can't explain, Filled with enough heart ache to combust with the slightest spark or flame, Darkness came and took Penny into the dark again, Forces changed and manipulated Penny to mark his grave, For art we slaves? Penny this is stupid this is just the part we've played, Heart decayed, drop to my knees in the darkest daze, Marked like the beast and locked in a box and stocked in an endless maze, Friends repaid, kindness with weakness and I got betrayed, Stabbed in the back and with a lock-pick, popped it unlocked it and was remade, Snapped those shackles got myself unchained, And regained, the confidence to crawl out my grave, See as it stands Penny takes no shit these days, Chorus If your reaching out - I'm a reach out too, If your broken down - I'm a break down, do, You feel what I'm feeling - is it fake or true? So reach out and break down that feeling, Let's take that weight off of you Do you see that shining, That's the light at the end of the tunnel - we're climbing, To the top together like we should be in alignment, We could be assigning, A higher meaning to life and it should be enlightening, Don't be frightened by the silence, Pain is devotion while love is guidance, Life is emotion-al and freedom's defiance, So if your reaching out just know I'm all in for us, let's close our eyes and vibe to this beautiful chorus Chorus If your reaching out - I'm a reach out too, If your broken down - I'm a break down, do, You feel what I'm feeling - is it fake or true? So reach out and break down that feeling, Let's take that weight off of you If your reaching out - I'm a reach out too, If your broken down - I'm a break down, do, You feel what I'm feeling - is it fake or true? So reach out and break down that feeling, Let's take that weight off of you Let's take that weight off of you.
