What do you do when the job you want does not exist? For Ken Pearce, Founder of Lunia 3D, the answer was to build his own opportunity. After graduating in 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, Ken found that the design and 3D-printing roles he was looking for were not readily available. So he started with what he had: a degree, a real interest in additive manufacturing, a couple of printers left over from university, and time to learn. He began working with local businesses, family and friends. From there, Lunia 3D started to grow.
