Hereford Cathedral = Part 1 & 2. Filmed on Sunday 20th August - editing done on Sunday 10th September 2023. Part 1 = Arrival in Hereford & views of the cathedral, from the bridge "as we head in." Historical information, commentary + appropriate images. Then, part one, of touring this beautiful building, begins. Such a breath-taking & historical place "so much to see." Including, the world famous (Mappa Mundi). Part 2 = The tour continues! Beautiful stained glass - The Tomb of St Thomas of Hereford "not a Shrine to St Thomas Becket." = Monuments - Transepts - Nave & Choir - The mystery of the third leg 😉 - SAS Memorial - The Norman Font. Then a fascinating archaeological discovery "which sheds a light on the Pre-Norman Cathedral + the grim end, of a particular saxon man."
