BIRKENHEAD PARK DRONE VIEW. Birkenhead Park is a historic public park located in Birkenhead, Merseyside, England. It was designed by Joseph Paxton and opened on April 5, 18471. This park is significant as it was the first publicly funded park in the world. It covers an area of 226 acres and features beautiful landscapes, including lakes, woodland walks, and historic structures like the Swiss Bridge and the Roman Boathouse. The park has influenced the design of other famous parks, including Central Park in New York, thanks to a visit by Frederick Law Olmsted in 1850. Today, Birkenhead Park is a Grade I listed landscape and continues to be a popular destination for visitors. BE IMMUNE & INSPIRED
